Pros with Radiant Defense vs some other TD games is they allow you a very decent amount of level manipulation with adding "modules" which are tiles you can build on, to manipulate creep paths and set up certain weapons for optimal fire direction. Usually with tower defense your easily winning but then trying to optimize your runs, which is present in this game, but radiant defense has a level of difficulty with a less tolerant build order than most TD games. My options are it seems to build early an extremely expensive research buildable to open up an aoe spray turret, which leavs me sparsely defended for some high hp larger enemy waves, so i can clear the little guy spam a few waves later. The game DOESNT shower you with currency to build, many waves ill complete and have no additional currency for completing, meaning its a wave start with no building and praying it works, with my only option to restart the entire mission to figure out what build order i need to survive all 12 waves on the mission. So this game has a fairly large amount of buildables, with a fairly large amount of similair looking but different "defensive approach required" enemies.įor instance my issue is i set up with a lot of basic weapons, then continually lose the wave with the mini-enemy spam due to getting overwhelmed. Its not a bad game mechanically, its actually hard, im stuck on the second mission on my phone (though its free im not sure if pc purchase gets you the phones "dlc") Yeah i have this on my phone, didnt even realize i had purchased this on steam.
